This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management while contributing to a thriving logistics environment.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Safely load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and RF scanners\n* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following specified procedures\n* Operate heavy equipment including cranes and material handling equipment to move large or heavy items efficiently\n* Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets and managing inventory with precision using inventory management systems\n* Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment\n* Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting packages for damage or discrepancies\n* Support warehouse operations by performing manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and load & unload activities\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred\n* Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes; certifications are a plus\n* Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques\n* Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately\n* Experience with RF scanners or other warehouse technology tools is advantageous\n* Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently\n* Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards to promote a safe work environment\n* Warehouse experience or supervisor experience is beneficial for growth opportunities in the role\n\nThis position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a bustling warehouse setting.
