Beal Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group counseling, as well as evidence-based treatment interventions to patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Our patient population consists of individuals with a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses, ranging from mild to severe conditions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients as young as age 5. This is a 1099 position and will function as an independent contractor and valued member of the Beal Wellness team. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to conduct on-site sessions at least two days per week, with the remaining sessions conducted virtually. This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual who excels in independent work environments. As the appointed therapist, you will have the autonomy to execute your clinical expertise and engage with clients using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. While weekly supervision will be available from a dedicated supervisor, this role is ideally suited for someone who thrives in an independent capacity, requiring minimal external support. Your ability to work autonomously, coupled with your passion for delivering quality mental health care, will be pivotal in making a lasting impact on the well-being of our clients. Responsibilities & Duties: Provide therapy and support to individuals across all age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, who present with a wide range of mental health conditions, from mild to severe. Develop comprehensive treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions, regularly reviewing outcomes, revisiting strategies, and making necessary revisions. Engage clients, caregivers, and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and addressing barriers to engagement. Collaborate with relevant internal and external systems and participants to ensure buy-in, cooperation, and maximize treatment effectiveness. Connect patients with additional resources as needed, such as schools, DFCS, medical support, and other support services. Maintain accurate and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback. Participate in agency staff meetings, supervision sessions, and external professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and stay up to date with best practices. Qualifications & Skills: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is required. Active GA license Training and experience in evidence-based treatment models. Demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
