Chiller Technician

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in West Valley City, UT for a Chiller Technician. The Chiller Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning commercial and industrial chillers and other related HVAC systems. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, repairing mechanical and electrical components, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role may also involve documenting work performed and providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly. Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial chillers, and HVAC systemsStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including compressors, refrigeration cycles, and control systemsExperience conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting typical mechanical issuesSolid understanding of safety standards, codes, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and customer service skills to explain technical issues clearlyAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectivelyEPA Refrigerant Certification and a valid driver’s licensePrevious experience in mechanical systems for commercial or industrial facilities is preferred
