Engineering teams in the development of new process and test equipment\n\nPractice the use of quality tools: 8D problem solving, Six Sigma, FMEA, control plans and SPC\n\nManage the day to day of Quality Technicians, Lead training on Quality related subject matter\n\nPerform other Quality related duties and responsibilities as assigned\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPI’s)\n\nSafety\n\nWarranty – Product\n\nWarranty - Shipping\n\nRMA’s - days to close\n\nScrap\n\nFPY\n\nOTD\n\nRequirements\nRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies\n\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical field\n\n5+ years of Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred\n\nKnowledge/use of quality tools such as: 8D problem solving, Control Plans, and SPC\n\nTechnical aptitude in electronics assembly preferred\n\nProficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels of an organization\n\nPhysical/Mental Essential Functions\n\nAbility to input data into computers and departmental systems\n\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and manuals\n\nAbility to interact / communicate effectively with customers, employees, and external personal\n\nEffectively communicate in English orally and in writing.\n\nAbility to identify, communicate, and help prevent potential problems\n\nAbility to solve practical problems within established parameters\n\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form\n\nAbility to deal with time sensitive situations on an ongoing basis\n\nAbility to follow a set of procedures or set sequences\n\nAbility to work in a fast pace environment\n\nMust be efficient with strong attention to detail\n\nWork Conditions\nWork in an office environment and routinely on the Manufacturing Plant production lines. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work hours are primarily on first shift and are based on Plant Production needs.\n\nOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
