Job#: 3027364Job Description: Systems Administrator ILocation: Fort Huachuca, Arizona (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractRole OverviewA position is available for a Systems Administrator to analyze and administer the Army-Wide Network Enterprise, which supports over one million users globally. The role involves interfacing with Remote Network Enterprise Centers (RNEC) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide technical assistance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining network performance, security, and reliability in a high-stress environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and administer the Army-Wide Network Enterprise.Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls on both Cisco and Juniper devices.Configure and support network protocols including ACLs, BGP, IPv6, NTP, SNMP, Spanning Tree, VPNs, and VRFs.Identify and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.Update network designs and topology diagrams using Visio.Analyze network traffic and utilization using tools like Wireshark.Monitor network performance using Spectrum and NDFC.Provide technical support during Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI).Implement and maintain network security measures.Review and verify network documentation such as DCABs, RFCs, and FCWs.Train personnel on WAN Enterprise capabilities and troubleshooting procedures.Support research and development efforts for future network technologies.Required QualificationsEducation & Experience:A Bachelor's degree with two or more years of relevant experience, or four or more years of relevant experience without a degree.Clearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay rate for this position is between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour.
