This full-time role involves developing both client-facing interfaces and backend infrastructure, ensuring a seamless experience for users across the system.This role is aligned with the Senior Software Engineer I category under the Mathematica GSA MAS Labor Categories, which includes responsibilities such as software design, coding, debugging, and leading smaller development teams.Key Responsibilities: Frontend:Build and maintain responsive, accessible web portals (508 compliant).Implement clean and intuitive UI/UX using modern frameworks.Develop role-based access control (RBAC) for multi-user environments.Participate in UI/UX reviews and peer code reviews. Backend:Design and maintain RESTful APIs and integration workflows.Manage metadata ingestion pipelines, user authentication, and logic layers.Implement database interactions and secure data transactions.Maintain continuous deployment/integration pipelines.Job requirementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.5 years of relevant software development experience.Equivalent substitutions accepted per GSA guidelines.Preferred Skills:React, Angular, or Vue for frontend development.Node.js, Python, or Java for backend APIs.Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar RDBMS.Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).Strong understanding of security, compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, 508), and performance optimization.Why Viderity:At Viderity, you’ll join a mission-driven team supporting innovative federal programs.
