The role works closely with site Process Engineering (PE) teams and Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to ensure a smooth, zero-defect (0 PPM) product launch.\n\nSecondary responsibilities include preparing equipment and standard time (ST) quotations for new business opportunities, developing cost-effective and flexible assembly processes for low-volume and build-to-print products, and collaborating with Design Engineering (DE) to establish and maintain process Value Engineering/Validation (VEC) standards for both current and future products.\n\nQualifications:\n\nRequired:\n\nProblem solving and troubleshooting skills.\nPossess strong initiative to complete project tasks on-time and in-budget.\nPossess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams.\nPossess strong time management skills to simultaneously manage multiple projects.\nAbility to manage projects in a team environment.\n\nBeneficial:\n\nSolidWorks 3-D CAD modeling (or other CAD systems) experience\nProgramming capability (PLC/GLC, C++, VB, SQL, etc.)\nExperience with Surface Mount Technology\nVision systems (Keyence, Cognex)\nExperience with Process Design\nExperience with robotic applications\n\nEducation: BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or other engineering technology.\n\nExperience: 7+ years of engineering experience in automotive/manufacturing environment\n\nJob level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities: n/a\n\nWorking conditions:\n\nPhysical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
