This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nGenerate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach\r\nBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business.\r\nDevelop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value\r\nNegotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals\r\nBuild strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers\r\nServe as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale\r\nConduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention\r\nStay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities\r\nRepresent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.\r\nLeverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions\r\nPartner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery. Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP)\r\nWork with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies\r\nMaintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems\r\nEducation and Experience:\r\nBachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)\r\n3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management or related service industries\r\nKnowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals\r\nStrong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills\r\nSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently\r\nProficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting\r\nPhysical Demands/Requirements:\r\nRegular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities\r\nOffice-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration\r\nAbility to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling\r\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record\r\nWork Environment:\r\nWorks in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations\r\nRequires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings\r\nBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.\r\nThis job description is subject to change at any time.\r\nCompensation Pay Range: $75,000 - $80,000\r\nBrightView offers a suite of health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
