In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.\nPrepare design and construction documents for new structures and for structural upgrades to existing facilities as a part of an integrated multi-disciplinary A/E team\nAssist the owner or project manager in defining the facility requirements/program for projects\nOversee the work of structural engineers and designers\nAnalyze and design concrete, steel, masonry\nWork with the project team to produce structural calculations, calculation checks, drawings, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables\nAnalyze existing structures and provide recommendations for strengthening for new loads where required\nDevelop design sketches into completed working details and drawings based on engineering fundamentals and applicable codes\nEnsure timely deliverables and exceed client expectations\nGuide team performance and provide constructive team feedback\nConduct field work including handling structural as-builts, rebuilds, retrofits, construction technical support, and client personnel interaction\nAssist with the training and mentoring of junior level engineers and designers\nRecommend and institute corrective design changes\nAnalyze configurations of basic project structural components\nMake an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team\nWhat You’ll Bring\nExperience in the analysis and design of structures\nHands on experience with structural engineering software such as RISA, RAM, STAAD, Mathcad, and ENERCALC\nExperience with AutoCAD and REVIT (preferred)\nDetailed knowledge of building codes and seismic requirements\nExperience in private sector industrial repair/remediation and greenfield projects (preferred)\nThe ability to climb stairs, ladders, and equipment/structures of varying heights\nProficiency with Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nProficiency in written and verbal communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations\nA bachelor of science in civil engineering (structural emphasis) plus a master of science in structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution\nA Professional Engineer License\nA Structural Engineering License (preferred)\nOur culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
