Worldpac is proud to offer all our team members a workplace that is both challenging and rewarding, with a commitment to enable each of them to achieve their full potential.\nWhat You Will Contribute at Worldpac\nUses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.\nCreate and maintain records as needed.\nDispatch, confirm customer order and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.\nSorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other designated areas, by part and quantity.\nEnsure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for.\nCollects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nWhat You Should Have\nEducation: High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMust-Have Skills:\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nEligible to work within the country in which you are applying\nMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per company standards.\nMust meet all applicable state/province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.\nHas example of great customer service and “going above and beyond.”\nDemonstrates strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.\nHas reliable attendance and is punctual.\nOperates safely and can maintain a clean and neat work environment.\nAbility to challenge upwards – respectful pushback.\nWillingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of the Branch operations.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals.\nAbility and willingness to drive safely, adhering to all company safety standards.\nCapable of safely operating equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack.\nConsistent and reliable attendance.\nProficient in basic math skills.\nAbility to use the computer and a handheld radio frequency device.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nNice-to-Have Skills (but not required):\nFamiliarity with automotive parts.\nPhysical/Work Environment Expectations:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally high (loud).\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and listen. The team member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch and occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The team member must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
