You will primarily work on projects with local municipalities and public agencies.\nThis position can be based in Portland, Oregon, or Puyallup, Seattle, Silverdale or Spokane, Washington, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.\nYour Role on the Team\nSupport the planning, design, rehabilitation, and improvement of municipal water and wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure.\nPrepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other design deliverables.\nEvaluate existing pump station conditions, system capacity, equipment performance, and operational needs.\nSupport the selection and design of pumps, piping, valves, mechanical systems, and related facility improvements.\nCoordinate with electrical, structural, civil, instrumentation and controls, and architectural disciplines to develop integrated project solutions.\nContribute to a collaborative team environment and help mentor developing engineers and technical staff.\nWhat You Bring to the Team\nBachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.\nFive or more years of experience supporting the design or delivery of municipal water and wastewater pump station projects.\nProfessional Engineer license in WA or Oregon, or the ability to obtain licensure within 1 year.\nExperience with pump selection, hydraulic calculations, piping systems, equipment layouts, and pump station rehabilitation or replacement projects.\nFamiliarity with municipal water and wastewater facilities, operations, design standards, and construction practices.\nWhy Join Parametrix?\nEmployee Ownership & Great Benefits: As a 100% employee-owned company, you will share in and contribute to Parametrix's success.
