Geologist - Entry Level
Job Description
We are seeking an Entry-Level Geologist or Engineer to become a part of our team at our Long Beach Office! You will work as part of a team to help implement multi-media investigations and implement innovative remedial strategies to cost-effectively address impacts to the environment.Responsibilities:Collect field data (air, soil and groundwater)Work with large data setsEvaluate data trendsMap data with GISDevelop engineering drawings with AutoCadDevelop charts, graphs, figures and site plansDraft written text for reports and workplans​​Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in geology, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related field and an interest in pursuing a career in the environmental industryEnvironmental related Master's degree is a plusFamiliarity with reading and preparing technical drawingsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsDeadline and detail-orientedExperience in GIS and/or AutoCadExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMotivated self starterProfessional situational awarenessCompany DescriptionWe believe in balance.
