Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Computer literacy Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical recordEssential Job Functions: (Maximum of 5 will be included in the performance appraisal)Responsible for the initial management of specimens of all age groups and assigning priorities of care in accordance with triage standards.Demonstrates proficiency in all testing procedures/policies according to Standard Operating Procedure Manual (SOPM).Demonstrates the ability to identify, evaluate appropriate action to resolve problems (including contacts with service hot lines and representatives). Performs and evaluates QA/QC.Ability to provide lab support to supervisor or a qualified medical technologist as requestedPerforms other duties as assigned.
