Techno-Functional Vista Consultant
Techno-Functional Vista Consultant (Part-Time, Contract) Start Date: Early May (Immediate Need) Duration: Long-term contract, potential multi-year Hours: 25–40 hours/week (flexible) We are seeking a hands-on Techno-Functional Consultant with strong experience in Vista to support a critical, high-visibility environment during a transition period. This role will play a key part in stabilizing, maintaining, and supporting both front-end and back-end operations within the Vista system until it is eventually sunset or replaced. This is an execution-focused role requiring someone who can step in quickly, operate independently, and provide immediate impact across technical and functional areas. Key Responsibilities Provide techno-functional support across the Vista platform (front-end and back-end) Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across payroll, union, and financial workflows Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and issue resolution Support ongoing payroll processing and ensure compliance with union requirements Partner with internal stakeholders to identify system gaps and provide solutions Assist with data integrity, system stabilization, and operational continuity Support transition efforts related to the eventual sunset or replacement of Vista Required Qualification Strong hands-on experience with Vista (both functional and technical aspects) Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, data analysis, troubleshooting) Experience supporting payroll processes within ERP systems Familiarity with union environments and related compliance considerations Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting ERP transitions or system replacements Background in construction or industries commonly using Vista Prior experience in a consulting or contract-based role Why This Role Immediate impact within a high-priority, private opening Flexible part-time schedule (25–40 hours/week)
