Location: Must be based in Greater Indianapolis or Bloomington Indiana
Compensation: $65k - $75k per year. Compensations is determined based on professional certifications held and range of skillset.
Finney Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled, dependable In-House Maintenance Technician to support our Indiana restaurant locations. This role is responsible for handling a wide range of facility, equipment, and system repairs across multiple concepts, ensuring our spaces remain safe, functional, and guest-ready.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-directed, and experienced in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general equipment maintenance. This position also supports routine upkeep tasks and works closely with operations leaders to prioritize repairs and preventative maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Maintenance & Repairs
Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment repairs across all assigned FHG locations
Diagnose issues quickly and recommend effective repair solutions
Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs in a timely manner
Coordinate with approved outside vendors when repairs exceed in-house scope
Ensure all work meets safety, building code, and regulatory requirements
Routine Upkeep & Facility Maintenance
Replace lightbulbs, fixtures, and minor electrical components
Perform wall repairs, patching, and touch-up painting
Maintain doors, locks, hardware, and general building components
Assist with routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and costly repairs
Communication & Documentation
Communicate clearly with General Managers and leadership regarding repair status and timelines
Maintain basic records of completed repairs, parts used, and follow-up needs
Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Proven experience in commercial maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades
Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel between Indiana locations as needed
Preferred
Trade certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, etc.
Experience supporting restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit operations
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems
Skills & Competencies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple locations
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Safety-focused and detail-oriented
Professional, service-minded approach when working in active restaurant environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works in active restaurant and hospitality environments and may involve exposure to kitchen equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical areas.
