Diploma or equivalent required\n2+ years of previous Accounts Payable work experience (experience with Construction A/P department and/or accounting system preferred, but not required)\nPrevious experience with document imaging administration (a.k.a. “paperless” invoice system) and scanning equipment preferred but not required.\nProficiency with MS Windows, including MS Word and MS Excel (e.g., can accurately complete sum functions and calculations using Excel formulas)\nAccurate 10-key by touch (7000+ keystrokes preferred) and demonstrated data-entry accuracy\nDemonstrated customer service excellence, including professional, courteous phone skills\nAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlines\nAbility to work overtime and weekends as required by Supervisor or Manager\nACCO Competencies:\nProactivity / Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision.\nPerseverance: Shows the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.\nInsight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.\nEngagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people.\nTeamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner.\nBig Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy.
