Sustainability is an important part of Munters' business strategy and value creation.We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where interns are valued members of the team and are given meaningful projects to work on.\r\nJob Description:Perform duties to pull, handle, move, load, and unload materials by hand or using any range of material handling equipment, following established routines and making minor decisions.\r\nEssential Duties:\r\nWork from computerized Quality Management System (QMS) components including production schedules, bill of materials and pull tickets.\r\nPrint pull tickets, bill of materials, and other documents to guide the process of picking and delivering materials to work areas.\r\nPull parts from inventory manually and using a forklift. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Ensure the proper rotation of materials as parts are pulled. Separate by department, section, and final location and stage for delivery to specific areas.\r\nSelect picked items from staging area to move to specific work areas for next day's production.\r\nMove damaged parts from work area to MRB (Material Review Board) area. Reverse MRB items out of the job and into MRB in computer records, as required due to shortage or DPU. Email purchasing department as required to initiate a rush order on material shortages.\r\nRemove trash and recycle bins from production areas. Operate trash compactor and replace empty bins.\r\nInspect material handling equipment, structures, or materials to identify problems or defects.\r\nParticipate in cycle counting and physical inventory assignments as directed.\r\nOther Duties:\r\nPerform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.\r\nMaintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
