PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 4 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 Hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.Please be advised of the following additional pay benefits individuals may be eligible for: Employees who are employed at HIGH DESERT STATE PRISON (HDSP) for 12 consecutive qualifying pay periods will receive an annual $2600 recruitment and retention bonus. Under the general supervision of the Office Services Supervisor II (General), the Office Technician (OT) (Typing), independently performs a wide variety of routine and complex administrative and clerical support duties that require general knowledge of Department programs and policies and an understanding of Department-wide office practices and procedures. The OT (Typing) must possess the ability to communicate effectively and exercise good judgment.Minimum Qualifications Either I: One year of experience in California state service performing clerical duties at a level of responsibility equivalent to that of an Office Assistant, Range B. Or II: Experience: Two years of experience in typing and clerical work. [Academic education above the twelfth grade may be substituted for one year of the required general experience on the basis of either (a) one year of general education being equivalent to three months of experience; or (b) one year of education of a business or commercial nature being equivalent to six months of experience.
