Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a culture of internal promotion, we empower you to reach your full potential and contribute to projects that truly matter.\n\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Engineering Technician located in Dallas, Texas.\n\nReporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Engineering Technician will support engineering services activities such as hardware and software design and development within the manufacturing operations alongside industrial and process engineers.\n\nShift : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM\n\nWhat a typical day looks like:\n\nPerforms complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks\nAnalyzes engineering test results and implements changes to resolve problems\nCollects data, analyzes results and implements procedures\nReviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies\nDevises, fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, server systems, machine tools and measuring instruments\nSets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design, or to obtain data for development, standardization, quality control and problem resolution\nAnalyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications\nRecords test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method\nMaintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications\nAssists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required to test customer products per their specifications\nTrains technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment\nPerform other related duties as assigned\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in related field preferred\n2+ years’ experience in technical work, trade work or engineering\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals\nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
