Our employees thrive here by living our values: we support each other as we strive to find a better way, we move fast with discipline and purpose, and we do the right thing always.\nThrough a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.\nJob summary:\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Trainer to our team.\nReporting to the Training Supervisor , this role will conduct tests and troubleshoot electronic products, components, and systems to ensure production quality standards are met.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDeliver hands-on training and coaching for new hires and existing employees on the production floor.\nConduct onboarding covering Flex culture, ESD, environmental health and safety, quality, ISO requirements, and site procedures.\nTrain employees using approved work instructions and demonstrate the correct use of production tools, equipment, machines, and processes.\nObserve trainee performance, verify understanding, document completion, and provide retraining when standards are not met.\nMaintain accurate individual training records, complete training reports, and support training effectiveness audits.\nComplete Train-the-Trainer instruction and build proficiency across assigned manufacturing and assembly processes.\nSupport specialized production areas, including clean-room operations, gowning protocols, and Cerebras assembly, as assigned.\nPartner with Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Operations to standardize training practices and improve employee performance, compliance, and production readiness.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires an associate degree, military training, or equivalent vocational training or experience.\nTypically requires at least two years of related manufacturing, assembly, technical, or training experience.\nDemonstrates strong technical knowledge across multiple manufacturing or assembly processes.\nAbility to read, understand, interpret, and teach approved work instructions, procedures, diagrams, and production requirements.\nHands-on experience using production tools and equipment such as scanners, computers, torque tools, microscopes, printers, pick-and-place equipment, or similar machinery.\nAbility to clearly demonstrate technical processes, coach employees, evaluate performance, and provide retraining when needed.\nBasic computer skills with the ability to maintain training records, complete reports, and use spreadsheets or related systems.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English and work across different schedules, production areas, clean-room environments, and changing operational needs.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
