Confidential Employer.\r\nJob Description\r\nLead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, billing, and fixed assets.\r\nManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accurate financial reporting.\r\nPrepare financial statements, executive dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.\r\nOversee job costing, project accounting, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, and revenue recognition.\r\nPartner with Project Managers to monitor project performance, profitability, budgets, and financial risks.\r\nManage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, working capital, and treasury activities.\r\nOversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, and cash management.\r\nStrengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial compliance.\r\nCoordinate audits, tax filings, insurance, bonding, and regulatory reporting.\r\nImprove accounting systems, financial reporting, and operational processes.\r\nRecruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\r\n5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.\r\nMinimum 1+ year of construction or mechanical contracting experience.\r\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.\r\nExperience with job costing and WIP reporting preferred.\r\nExperience with Sage Timberline/Sage 300 CRE or similar construction accounting software preferred.\r\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\r\nCPA or CMA preferred but not required.\r\nStrong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.\r\nWhy You Will Love Working Here\r\nYou'll join a collaborative leadership team where your financial expertise directly influences company performance.
