We inform, inspire, and entertain millions of readers every month across digital, print, video, and social platforms.Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)Edit short- and long-form video content using Adobe Creative Suite for digital, social, and broadcast platformsImplement feedback from producers and editorial teams quickly and accurately to refine storytellingDeliver high-quality video projects on deadline with strong attention to detail, pacing, and narrative structureManage media workflows including ingesting, organizing, archiving, and tracking assets across projectsApply best practices for media storage and maintain highly organized project filesCollaborate closely with production teams in the planning and execution of video shootsContribute creative ideas that elevate storytelling and align with Men's Health and Women's Health brand voicesQualifications (What We're Looking For)3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production, including motion design, or equivalent experienceAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to troubleshoot media and technical issuesFamiliarity with additional editing tools such as Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platformsStrong sense of storytelling, with an exceptional eye for pacing, sound design, and shot selectionExperience with audio mixing and color correction/gradingAbility to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple projects and tight deadlinesStrong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced production environmentA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as neededExperience with camera work, lighting, or live audio is a plusBased in New York City with the ability to work in-office 4 days per weekThe hourly rate for this position is $50, with a schedule of approximately 28 hours per week.
