For more information, visit itac.us.com.\nResponsibilities\nIndependently performs Electrical Engineering activities for all phases of Electrical development and equipment design for a project of moderate size and complexity. Must be fully competent in performing all conventional aspects of Electrical Engineering and application of independent judgment for the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering criteria, methods, and procedures. Assignments have objectives requiring the investigation of several variables. Periodic review of work done by less experienced engineers is required.\n\n15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)\nLicensed Professional Engineer with the ability to obtain licenses in multiple states, if needed. (NCEES certified or willing to obtain certification)\nFamiliarity with power system modeling and analysis software (SKM, etap, etc.)\nResponsible for performing the layout, analysis, and design of the electrical engineering scope of work for industrial projects.\nAble to design and develop electrical documentation:\n \nElectrical Equipment Specifications\nElectrical Plan Drawings (Power, Lighting, Grounding, etc.)\nElectrical Schematics (Single line diagrams, Motor Schematics, Interconnection diagrams, etc.)\nDesign Calculations\n\nAbility to work with and understand core design basis documentation (i.e., P&IDs, General Arrangements, Equipment List, etc.)\nProficient in developing specifications and design for Motor control Centers (MCCs), Switchgear, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).\nAbility to lead a small staff of designers and possibly junior engineers.\nPerform Quality checking procedures on Electrical Engineering work performed by others.\nThe ability to resolve technical design conflicts.\nIncumbent must be cognizant of the capabilities and limitations of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment to effectively direct their use for diverse engineering assignments.
