Family Engagement Specialist (Part-Time)

Family Engagement Specialist (Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred)Hourly rate starting at $17 per hour.This position is responsible for providing on-site childcare to children ages 0-17 years while their family members are receiving services from the agency and/or managing the front desk and working with families to complete intake paperwork.Essential FunctionsEngage children of all ages waiting in the Activity Center in constructive group and/or individual activitiesGreet all clients, donors, volunteers, vendors, and team members and connect them with appropriate staffProvide exceptional customer service and help resolve client/team/staff concernsEnsure donations are received, documented, and distributed to the appropriate staff/placeProvide information on available services and ensure availability of resource materials in waiting/activity areasAdhere to all CACNT security and procedural policiesCommunicate any client concerns or needs with other staff to ensure high quality serviceEnsure office and PPE supplies are availableEnsure that waiting spaces and activity center areas are clean, safe, and organized and adequately equipped with necessary suppliesAnswer and transfer incoming calls, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and faxesSchedule transportation services for clientsEnter services in database as appropriateParticipate in scheduled team meetingsOther duties as assignedMust be willing to work at both Lewisville / Denton offices including off-site event locationsMaintain confidentialityOther duties as assigned ScheduleMonday to Thursday 4 pm to 8 pmTravelThis position will be in both the Denton and Lewisville, TX offices. Travel to the Bridgeport office may be required if agency needs arise.Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceA minimum of 1-year of experience in providing childcare required.A minimum of 1-year of experience in providing customer service required.Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
