The ideal candidate would have experience in blacksmithing or other metal forming experience, is comfortable working with forklifts or heavy machinery, and has experience working in an industrial setting.\nThe forging technician is focused on the working and shaping of copper alloys in the form of rods, disks, rings and bars. Technicians utilize forklifts and manipulators to position parts on the forging hammers to create the shapes and sizes required. This position will utilize both open and closed die operations.
