Diesel Fleet Mechanic-ABQ
MATHESON is one of the nation’s leading bulk suppliers of liquefied gases. Our Diesel Mechanics perform repairs and schedule preventative maintenance per DOT standards on both our tractors and cryogenic trailers. The Schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 6 am to 3 pm.

Employment stability
Experience & Education:
2 years’ diesel mechanic experience/highway equipment maintenance or relevant training from a Technical School
DOT air brake certification and annual federal vehicle inspection certification
Strong Knowledge of DOT and Safety Regulations
Product line knowledge LIN/LOX/LAR preferred but not required
Hydraulic system background preferred
Preferred diagnostic background to include Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Eaton Transmission and International Engines
Provide own hand tools and chest with tools up to 1-1/2”
Computer Literate
Inventory Control
Must be willing to get Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker Endorsements(company paid)
The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve, self-starter, work well with others, and be flexible in the ever-changing Cryogenic and Transportation industries. Prior industry experience is a plus. Other duties will include maintaining shop parts, ordering and inventory control, tire repairs/changes, and light electrical. Have CDL or willingness to get w/hazmat endorsement
