If you are a passionate self‑starter, Smart Structures is a great company for you. In this role, you will work with electronic systems, devices, and components in several ways. For example, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems in electronic equipment and repairing them. Build various types of sensors and control systems. You will also be required to perform field installations and complete field installation reports.\nResponsibilities Follow the manufacturing procedures with precise detail.\nTroubleshoot defective assemblies and develop the process to eliminate defects.\nSolder sensors and wires to produce quality assemblies.\nInspect parts and assemblies for defects.\nInstall and debug sensor packs and cables in the field.\nManage the receiving of deliveries and stocking.\nManage the packaging of deliveries and shipping.\nIdentify electrical problems using a variety of test equipment.\nRepair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.\nTest electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.\nInspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.\nReplace conduit and wiring as needed.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nRequirements Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.\nAbility to use hand tools and power tools.\nProficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.\nExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.\nSoldering and component removal/replacement experience.\nBasic electronics knowledge.\nBasic computer skills, Word and Excel.\nPunctual and detail‑oriented.\nValid driver's license.\nEducation and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
