The ideal candidate would be multi-certed in RT/MT/PT/UT/VT/These are full-time, benefited position that involves travel-based project work. The standard schedule is five 10-hour shifts, with off-weeks rotating.ResponsibilitiesSet up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipmentConduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspectionEstablish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulationsApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate resultsInterpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicatorsOrganize and report test resultsPerform specialized inspectionsMay instruct and supervise othersPerform other job-related tasks as assigned by managementSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentSome college preferredCertified Level II -MT,PT,UT,UTT,VT,RT,CR,DR (any combination. CR,DR,RT preferred.
