{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f43167407bd212e8fad4d607","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f43167407bd212e8fad4d607","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f43167407bd212e8fad4d607","title":"Forge Process Planner","description":"ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Production Planning  Work on production planning including but not limited to contract review, certification review, compliance to customer purchase order requirements, production traveler planning and issuance, raw material planning, and interaction with production management and personnel.  Plan jobs by due date and priority.  Review customer purchase orders and associated documents for technical and quality requirements.  Determine product configuration through the review of customer requirements in coordination with representatives from appropriate departments such as Estimating, Sales, Tooling, Planning, and Quality.  Define the sequence of production operations, including outside processing and product identification and traceability (marking) requirements and identify the in-process and final inspection/testing operations, including first article inspection, required to ensure product conformance to requirements.  Review the work orders during the planning process and verify that product configuration, as specified by the customer on the customer purchase order and other customer requirements, matches the work order documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, cutting instructions, manufacturing instructions, marking instructions, and inspection instructions).  Review, assess and approve, along with applicable department representatives, changes to product configuration on manufacturing processes and tooling.  Manage changes to the work order and flow them down to impacted personnel.  Create master traveler based on approved processes and ensure that it retains its original shop traveler (job) number as a means of identification and reference on future manufacturing runs.\nKNOWLEDGE  Knowledge in Production processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure proper product realization.  Knowledge in identifying customer requirements to flow them down internally and to suppliers.  Knowledge in general mathematical principles, techniques, and practices relevant to calculation, measurement, data collection, and statistical analysis.  Knowledge in root cause analysis tools, techniques and practices.  Knowledge in statistical process control tools.  Knowledge in general computer applications applicable to the job.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $60,000.00 -
