Maintain master backups for all machine programs.\nRecommend the electrical spare parts inventory for all new and existing production equipment to insure maximum machine utilization.\nDevelop programming and provide support for Programmable Logic Controllers, Robots and Panel Views to maximize both quality and production.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nProvide technical support to other facilities if needed.\nMaintain current corporate programming standards.\nImprove human machine interfaces.\nImplement quality improvements.\n\nEssential Common Requirements for all Employees:\nQuality System: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements.\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements.\nProduct Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.\nCompliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements.\nInformation Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.\nMust comply with all company policies and procedures.\nEmployee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.\nAbility to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.\nAbility to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).\n\nRequired Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)\n3-5 Minimum Years of Experience as an electronic engineer, electrician or similar.\n3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.\nMust be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.\nSpecial knowledge of electronic design systems.\nAbility to program and interface Allen Bradley drives and controls systems.\nKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as it relates to controls of such systems.\nExperience with Allen Bradley PLC programming.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)\nAdvanced level Allen Bradley PLC programming.\nAbility to program Siemens PLC's.\nSome knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as it relates to controls of such systems.\nAdvanced level in HMI interfaces and layouts for best operator experience.\nDemonstrated ability to integrate, program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial vision sensors and machine vision systems in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience implementing and supporting Industry 4.0 technologies, including connected devices, data acquisition systems, automation, and real-time manufacturing analytics.\nWorking knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including system integration, production data collection, traceability, quality management, and operational reporting.\nExperience leveraging manufacturing data to drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.\n\nBy applying for this role, you confirm that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
