{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f4163faebf868debb7810f2f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f4163faebf868debb7810f2f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f4163faebf868debb7810f2f","title":"Sheeter","description":"SHEETER\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nWork from blueprints, sketches, drawings, sample parts and written/verbal work instructions to construct and assemble components of trailer assemblies using electric, pneumatic and hand-powered tools.\nVerify conformance of product with the appropriate specifications and standards from work order and drawings\nMeasure, mark, cut and machine parts on machines such as tube bender, bandsaw, plasma torch or other machines\nConfer and collaborate with other sheeters and/or supervisors to resolve any product or process problems\nAdhere to and sustain lean manufacturing processes including but not limited to 5-S, Point of Use Storage, Kanban systems, etc. in order to maintain productivity requirements and a clean, safe work area\nRequired to be able to float to other departments at any time as needed by the Company\nRequired to follow all policies and procedures as directed by Cimarron Trailers\nResponsible for ensuring quality product is completed in a timely manner.\nRegular attendance is a critical function of this job\n\nEducation and Experience:\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\n\nJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nMust be able to read a tape measure to 1/16’s of an inch\nCapable of welding aluminum parts using a mig welder (preferred but not required)\nCapable of using a plasma torch as well as other tools needed for the job\nMust possess the ability to work effectively with your team and other teams.\nMust be familiar with product construction and application and provide quality work at the source.\nThis position requires that the person be an organized individual, who is self-motivated, and can work independently.\nMust be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.\nMust maintain regular work schedule to ensure product flow\n\nPhysical Demands:\nRequired to stand and move about the facility for prolonged periods of time, including up to an entire 8 hour shift as well as any required overtime.\nAble to stoop, bend, twist, squat, and kneel during the course of the day\nRequired to be able to use hands and arms to repetitively grip, twist, squeeze and otherwise use tools such as welding guns, plasma torches, pneumatic and electric hand tools and other types of hand tools throughout the 8 hour shift as well as any required overtime.\nFrequent and repetitive lifting of up to 25 lbs. throughout shift and occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. individually throughout the shift.
