Other duties/functions may be added or assigned.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nN/A\n\nOperations\nLead the plant Training program by mapping out and maintaining training plans and training schedules for hourly plant employees.\nDesigning and developing training programs that will be used in the organization including apprenticeship programs, on the job training, professional development classes, and more.\nManage and evaluate Production Trainers to ensure effective execution of training processes and training delivery.\nCollaborating with plant leaders and HR to identify training needs and creating development plans for teams and individuals.\nConduct training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.\nDesign, prepare, and order educational aids and materials.\nAssess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.\nDesign and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.\nGather feedback from Production Trainers and trainees after each educational session.\nPartner with Training Coordinators from other sites to ensure instructional design and training processes are standardized using best practices from across the organization and industry.\nMaintain updated curriculum database, training matrix and training records for the plant.\nHost train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.\nContinually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nSafety\nComply with the EHS Policy and applicable regulatory and company EHS rules and requirements.\nPrompt reporting of any unsafe conditions, practices, or environmental concerns to supervision. Resolving potential hazards swiftly, thereby ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.\nAttend scheduled EHS trainings.\nActively assist the organization in achieving or surpassing EHS goals. Identify areas for improvement in EHS practices and recommend enhancements to contribute to our commitment to a safe work environment.\nDemonstrates safe work habits by adhering to general safety procedures, including correct techniques for lifting and bending, maintaining proper ergonomics, using equipment correctly, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.\nEnsures that all fall protection procedures are strictly adhered to including but not limited to the use of harness, platform ladders, railing, lifts\nEnsures strict adherence to all safety procedures, including the enforcement and discipline related to Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) procedures.\n\nProduct Safety and Quality\nFollows Product Safety and Quality standards.\nFollows GMP’s regarding food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee.\nFollows IPC product defense standards and complies with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.\n\nMinimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)\n\nThe list below represents the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
