Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and strategies. Manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention. Foster literacy education through engaging activities and assessments. Conduct standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development and classroom activities. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children in daycare or preschool settings. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Experience: - Previous experience in teaching or working with children is preferred - Knowledge of child development principles and educational best practices - Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members - Experience in areas such as physical education, childcare, special education, or daycare is a plus - Familiarity with behavior management strategies and experience working with diverse student populations - Understanding of educational approaches like Montessori or other progressive teaching methods Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
