Job Description Guardian Electric is seeking skilled and reliable general laborer in Oneida, TN. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting contractors and following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.General Labor Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipmentFollow project instructions from construction manager or supervisorConsult with construction plansUse construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasksFollow all health and safety regulations when operating equipmentEnsure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are wornComplete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient mannerAssist in building scaffolding and temporary structuresSafely operate a variety of toolsPrepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting spaceProvide assistance to contractors (i.e. craft workers, electricians, painters) as neededClean and clear debris and hazardous materialsEnsure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properlyGeneral Labor Requirements and QualificationsHigh school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plusMust be 18 years of ageAbility to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 poundsMust be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levelsPositive attitude and work ethicAble to work independently or as an active member of a teamExcellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of managementEnglish and Spanish fluency a plus Company DescriptionWe are a full service commercial and industrial electrical contractor that's been in business since 1976.
