Candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the DC metro area prior to start.\nSalary: $135,000–$215,000 — Commensurate with experience\nResponsibilities\nLead the full program lifecycle for federal contracts supporting a national security customer, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.\nServe as the primary point of contact with government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership on program performance and deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain program plans, staffing plans, and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).\nMonitor program financials, including funding execution, invoicing, and cost/schedule variance reporting.\nManage subcontractor and teaming partner performance against contract requirements.\nSupport proposal development, staffing, and transition activities for new and recompete efforts.\nEnsure compliance with contract terms, security requirements, and applicable federal regulations (FAR/DFARS).\nMentor and provide oversight to project leads and technical staff supporting the program.\nRequirements\nDemonstrated experience managing federal government programs or contracts in a government contracting (GovCon) environment.\nExperience supporting missions for the Department of War (DoW), DHS, FBI, or another national security/intelligence community agency.\nWorking knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF), and program financial management.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing government stakeholders.\nWillingness to work onsite in the DC metro area as required by the program.\nPreferred Skills\nPMP or equivalent program/project management certification.\nExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM).\nPrior military, intelligence community, or federal civilian background.\nExperience managing multi-task-order or IDIQ contract vehicles.\nEducation and Work Experience\n3–15 years of relevant experience, with placement (Mid, Senior, or Lead) commensurate with demonstrated experience.
