We collaborate closely with clients and their advisors to ensure seamless execution of complex planning strategies, with a focus on preserving and transferring wealth across generations.Position Overview – Trust And Estate AssociateWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly professional Trust and Estate Associate to support the administration of complex fiduciary relationships. The Trust and Estate Administrator plays a key role in supporting the administration of trusts, estates, and fiduciary accounts. This position works closely with senior trust officers, legal counsel, and client advisors to ensure accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service and offers direct exposure to sophisticated wealth structures and multigenerational planning. This role is integral to maintaining the exceptional level of service our clients expect and requires a strong sense of accountability, discretion, and technical precision.Essential Functions:Administer assigned client relationships and various types of accountsServe as secondary point of contact for clientsAssist in the interpretation of trust instrumentsOversee trust funding and asset movementsReview and process distribution requestsPrepare discretionary distribution documentationEnsure income vs. principal accuracyMaintain and organize all records and trust files to ensure proper record-keeping in order to comply with all trust documents and regulationsManage conflict resolution and sensitive family dynamicsAssist with audits and identification of fiduciary risks Support process improvementsMonitor deadlines and compliance obligationsDirectly report to and collaborate with VP, Senior Wealth Strategists and Relationship Officers on trust and estate mattersSupport Relationship Manager on new business generationAdhere to all relevant regulations, including USA Patriot Act and Anti-Money Laundering ProgramIdentify and resolve issues by comparing account information to system reportsQualifications:3-5 years of experience in trust & estateExperience in a law office/family office dealing with high net worth clientsUnderstanding of trust accounting and how to administer sophisticated trustsHigh level understanding of estate planning Must possess excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to utilize Microsoft Office and trust accounting softwareAbility to maintain a positive and professional work environmentMaintain strict confidentiality as well as digital/physical securityDemonstrate the ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve/escalate problemsAbility to work independently with little to no supervision when needed and able to manage multiple tasksMust be open to performance improvement and coachingOpen to occasional travel when necessaryApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
