The position forwards related documents to Accounts Receivable, prepares inventory labels, and distributes work orders to Fork Truck Drivers for delivery to production lines.\n\nDivision: Commercial\nDepartment: Aluminum Paint Department\nReports to: Purchasing Manager\nJob Type: Full-Time\nFLSA: Non-Exempt\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nEnsure production lines have required materials to meet their daily production goals\nComplete daily cycle counts and manage material minimum / maximum quantities\nAccurately scan materials in and out of the Receiving Department\nUpdate Quaker's backend processing system with material orders received and verify quantities against purchase orders\nForward receipt verification documents to Quaker's Accounts Receivable Team\nCorrectly label materials\nEfficiently change out racks of materials\nSafely load Scrap Trailers\nReduce Overstock\nWatch over materials in the warehouse and maintain security of those goods\nUpkeep inventory accuracy in the warehouse\nMaintain equipment by performing daily visual inspections, logging safety checks, performing basic maintenance and reporting issues to maintenance\nOversee the safe operation of Forklift Drivers & pallet jack usage\nKeep the areas holding inventory clean and tidy\nWeekly correspond with the Purchasing Manager\nPrompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.\nInteract and communicate with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.\nAvailability on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.\nCommunicate via email, prepare reports and work schedules.\nReview and analyze data and information concerning material minimums & maximums.\nPlan, prioritize and monitor receiving activities.\nOversee the completion of tasks/projects in a timely manner.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThe Receiving Lead position has indirect leadership and supervisory responsibilities including assisting with assigning and checking the work of others. The position will also monitor staff performance and employee retention. The individual will train employees, provide performance feedback and assist in completing any correction or discipline necessary. Additionally, the Receiving Lead will assist in determining means, methods and materials for performing work.\n\nSafety\nObserve safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment; report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly. Follow any job-specific or department-specific safety requirements such as Safe Product Handling Guidelines, Basic Tool Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Safe Pallet Jack Operation and Safe Lift.\n\nTravel\nFor training purposes, travel between campuses will be required.
