The Technical Project Manager is responsible for answering customer pre-installation technical questions, verifying site readiness for Tyler ID, configuration of Tyler ID, and coordinating deployment schedules with PM staff across multiple product lines.ResponsibilitiesDocument processes and data collection.Manage and assume responsibility for aspects of projects related to delivery of client software and services.Acquire and coordinate necessary resources to meet project needs.Plan and track project activity.Guide the client through release planning in support of the overall project schedule.Track project hours and submit project progress reports by due dates when necessary.Manage scope and time to meet client commitments.Manage communication throughout the team and stakeholders.Manage the quality of project team deliverables.Document and report status and issues.Identify, report, and manage risks; overcome project obstacles.Act as a client liaison and representative, communicating client feedback to appropriate Tyler representatives and resolving outstanding issues on behalf of the client in a timely manner.Conduct planning sessions with client functional staff to create documented management plans that specify the project scope and plan.Ensure resources are scheduled and monitor progress to ensure compliance with the project plan, notifying affected parties of any schedule changes.Use departmental sites, calendars, and systems to publish a summary of key dates and issues to all Tyler employees involved in the project.Communicate completion of milestones to clients and secure formal acceptance from them.Communicate with the implementation staff and management regularly, ensuring timely delivery of schedules; relay personnel, client, contract, and departmental issues; and respond to directives issued to meet department goals.Build rapport with the team while actively influencing events and negotiating changes to achieve project goals.Oversee multiple projects with hard deadlines.Ensure detailed documentation, diagrams, or reference architecture are provided.Collaborate with client and/or Tyler resources to solve complex issues.Demonstrate product expertise.Proactively manage and handle issues and risks.Communicate clearly and effectively with various internal personnel as well as with clients at multiple levels.Incorporate new information, make quick decisions, and keep appropriate people informed of rapidly occurring developments.QualificationsExperience managing technical projects in a SaaS environment.Strong understanding of Tyler software, Tyler ID configuration, and deployment processes.Demonstrated ability to document processes and data collection.Experience acquiring and coordinating resources for project success.Skills in planning, tracking, and managing project activity.Ability to guide clients through release planning and meet project schedules.Strong time management and scope management capabilities.Excellent communication skills across team, stakeholders, and clients.Experience managing project quality and deliverables.Track record of identifying, reporting, and managing risks and resolving issues.Proficiency in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and status reports.Ability to act as a client liaison, resolving issues efficiently.Proven ability to conduct planning sessions and collaborate with client functional staff.Strong organizational and documentation skills, including production of diagrams and reference architecture.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and solving complex problems.Product expertise in Tyler technologies or similar SaaS platforms.Flexibility to communicate effectively with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders.LocationBillings, Montana | Lakewood, Colorado | Lubbock, TexasTravel0-5%State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure RequirementsSalary will generally fall between $65,300 – $75,000 before adjustment for geographic differences.
