Then Waldom Electronics has an opportunity for you!\n\nAbout The Role\nAs our Outbound Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the Waldom warehouse's domestic and international shipping teams including implementing company policies and procedures.\n\nYou will ensure that shipments are dispatched on time and in accordance with company standards. As our Outbound Supervisor you will address shipping issues such as damaged products or delayed deliveries and collaborate with the Operations Manager and the Inbound Supervisor to drive continual improvement within the facility.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDaily Operations Supervision: Manage daily shipping operations by assigning tasks and ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and customer requirements.\nDelivery Management: Deliver end-of-day shipments to UPS in Maysville, KY, using a company vehicle.\nEmployee Relations: Participate in the hiring process. Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff as necessary. Foster effective employee relations by providing coaching, development, and motivation. Conduct annual written performance reviews.\nSafety Compliance: Enforce and promote safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.\nISO Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO standards and regulations within the department.\nDepartment Coordination: Work with other departments to guarantee timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory records.\nPolicy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.\nLeadership Interaction: Collaborate closely with departmental managers, supervisors, and the executive leadership team.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nWILLINGNESS TO WORK CORE HOURS OF 12p-9p\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred OR at least 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.\nKnowledge of shipping procedures and regulations, including international shipping.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite.\nERP experience.\nValid Driver’s License with good motor vehicle report history.\nMust be 26 years or older for insurance purposes.\nPhysical Requirements:\nCan lift items up to 50 pounds and to alternate sitting, walking and standing up to 8 hours per day.\nWorking Conditions:\nComfortable working in a Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks.\n\nWe’d Love It If\nYou possess strong organizational skills.\nHave professional and effective communication skills.\nCan manage a team while fostering a respectful and communicative work culture.\nHave excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nHere’s a Few Things We Offer You\nTop quality health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans (eligibility begins on the first of the month following sixty (60) days of employment).
