Interface with manufacturing and maintenance to resolve welding and welding system issues.\nAssist with MRO crib activities.\nSupport project engineering on new and existing programs.\nAssist in the integration, start-up and debug of plant floor welding equipment.\nChampion assigned engineering changes, communicate and coordinate accordingly to all departments.\nTrain, coach and mentor the welding process for weld engineers, manufacturing and skilled trades colleagues.\nDirect and/or participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).\nReview and resolve all weld cut and etch and destruct related issues.\nInitiate cross-functional equipment design reviews.\nSupport new model launches and improvement teams.\nSupport tool tryouts at supplier and in-house capability runs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThis full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our corporate engineering team and reports to the Weld Engineering Manager.\nRequired experience:\nBachelor's degree (B.
