This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and inspecting window sash, screens, and related components. The ideal candidate will follow work instructions and blueprints, maintain quality standards, and ensure that finished products meet safety and performance specifications.\r\nKey ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, assembly layouts, part lists, and specifications.\r\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, technical instructions, and manufacturing documentation.\r\nGather parts, materials, and tools from inventory using pick lists and maintain accurate records.\r\nPerform inventory management for tools and materials used in the assembly process.\r\nMaintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.\r\nConduct testing, calibration, and quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.\r\nEvaluate the quality of parts and materials prior to and during assembly.\r\nPick and prepare all necessary components for window sash fabrication.\r\nSafely lift and position window glass panes onto workstations or rotating suction wheels.\r\nApply glazing materials to glass edges and assemble aluminum sash components using mallets, fasteners, pneumatic tools, and silicone adhesives\r\nInspect completed sash assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.\r\nLoad finished window sash units onto carts and label production batches with job information.\r\nMeasure, cut, and roll screen material to specified dimensions.\r\nAssemble window screens using aluminum frames, spline, and screen rolling equipment, ensuring proper tension, alignment, and finish.\r\nInspect completed screens for defects and proper fit prior to staging or packaging.\r\nHandle screen materials, frames, and related components safely during production.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors.\r\nQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\r\nPrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production is a plus but not required.\r\nPrevious experience in window or window screen fabrication is a plus but not required.\r\nAbility to follow instructions and work safely.\r\nAttention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\r\nPhysical ability to lift and move materials as needed.\r\nComfortable using basic hand tools and equipment.\r\nAbility to use a measuring tape and perform basic mathematical calculations is preferred but not required.\r\nPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs.\r\nAbility to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.\r\nComfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations, and machinery.\r\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
