Job Description: Lobby Attendant - Dog Daycare Attendant This position is responsible for the safety, supervision and management of daycare dogs. This will include observing, interacting, and utilizing proper dog handling techniques. Responsible for facility maintenance, including cleaning play areas/accessories and other areas of the facility. This position may assist with customer relations in the lobby as needed. Clear communication skills and an ability to work with all levels of personnel and management are essential. Applicants hired in a full-time capacity will earn a higher pay rate than part-time. Qualifications Previous experience providing dog, pet or animal care preferred (personal or job related) Willingness to work with dogs and canines of varying breeds & sizes Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend time on your feet walking around the pack of dogs Expectations Willing to work with dogs, learning to read dog behavior, interact with dogs of all breeds & sizes, and keep every pet in your care safe at all times Prioritize and ensure the safety of all dogs in your care by identifying and addressing potential behavior issues proactively Clean and maintain the whole facility (vacuum, mop, pick-up dog waste, clean windows, take out trash, etc.) Willing to work additional or irregular hours and holidays when needed Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures Perform other responsibilities as assigned Dog, Doggy, Dog Daycare, Dog Boarding, Dog Kennel, Puppy, Animal Care Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.5 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule On-the-job training Paid time off Paid training Retirement plan Application Question(s): Are you willing and able to work weekends?
