As a Program Analyst, you will respond to a high volume of quote requests for Special Operational Equipment and Fire & Emergency Services Equipment to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for their Tailored Logistics Support Program (TLS). During this process, you will build professional vendor relationships, vet supplier responses for compliance and analyze delivery options for the goods being offered. Attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving skills, and precise communication are essential. The ideal candidate is committed, enthusiastic and ready to grow with us to build a rewarding long-term career.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluate government quote requests to determine if they are within scope of the contract\nNegotiate the best price, terms and delivery options for the goods being offered\nAssess, manage and mitigate risks for all aspects of the procurement\nReport key metrics in order to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness\nNetwork, partner and negotiate with reliable suppliers and maintain positive vendor relations\nAccurately interpret supplier quotes, including terms and delivery schedules\nPerform high-level order management involving multiple layers of data entry\nFollow up across all process areas to ensure proper order delivery and customer satisfaction\nCommunicate effectively via phone, email, and group meetings with customers, vendors, peers, and management\nSkills / Knowledge\nOutgoing personality with ability to create relationships via phone and email\nProcess- and procedure-driven with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment\nStrong analytical and mathematical skills\nSolid judgment and decision-making abilities\nImpeccable written and oral communication skills\nAbility to operate multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously\nSelf-starter constantly looking to improve themselves and the company\nKnowledge and interest in the tactical and weapons industry\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree required; prior experience may be considered\n3+ years of customer service experience required\n5+ years of experience in a Microsoft Office environment, with emphasis on Excel\nPrior military or federal agency experience preferred\nExperience with government procurement preferred\nMust pass a drug screening test\nApplication Instructions\nA cover letter with your resume is strongly recommended.
