If you are skilled with your hands, eager to learn installation processes, and want consistent work inside a professional remodeling company—not side jobs or inconsistent projects—this role fits.You will work closely with our Lead Installer and Project Manager to deliver bathroom remodels in well-maintained homes across Essex County and nearby communities.What You’ll Be DoingAssist with project setup, demolition, debris removal, and site protectionPrep surfaces (cement board install, level prep, waterproof prep)Assist with tile installation on walls, floors, and shower surroundsInstall fixtures (vanity, mirrors, shower trim, drain covers, etc.)Help set pans, shower bases, and substratesAssist with minor plumbing disconnects and finishing connectionsSupport layout work, measuring, and cutting materialsMaintain a clean and safe job site dailyLoad and organize tools, materials, and job-site suppliesReport progress, delays, or issues to the Project ManagerInteract with homeowners professionally, when neededThis role offers hands-on training to advance into Lead Installer status.What You Need To Bring1–2 years in construction or remodeling OR strong mechanical aptitudeSome experience with tiling, carpentry, drywall, or similar tradeAbility to use basic tools: drill, level, saws, cutters, tape measureReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseAbility to lift up to 75 lbs (tile boxes, vanities, shower pans)Attention to detail, willingness to follow directionAbility to work efficiently and maintain job-site professionalismBonus Experience (Preferred But Not Required)Tile installation experienceWaterproofing systems (Schluter, RedGard, cement board prep)Basic plumbing (P-traps, shut-offs, drains, trim kits)Electrical light or fan fixture swapsBathroom fixture installationCandidates with specialty trade skills or experience on full remodels will move up fastest.What Makes This Job Worth ItStable, predictable work—not waiting week to weekDirect access to ownership and project leadershipA respectful job-site culture; no toxicity or chaosPaid training on bath-specific systemsCompensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBath Tune-Up Makes Homes BetterBath Tune-Up is a bathroom design and remodeling franchise system of dedicated professionals across the US & Canada with team members who go the extra mile to leave their clients’ bathroom spaces even better than they found them.
