The ST is an allied health professional who will work as part of the surgical team to deliver surgical care. Skills include preparation of the operating room, sterilize equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and counting supplies. This is an essential role in the Operating Room and is cross trained to the Central Processing area.
