Accomplishes tasks in a timely and orderly manner.\nKey Duties/Responsibilities:\n\nGreets all customers with a sincere smile, making them feel welcome through a positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.\nTakes and fills the customer’s order within company-mandated service time.\nSuggest selling products as directed by management.\nCollects money and delivers orders to customers.\nImmediately attends to any customer service problem or complaint. Notifies manager as needed.\nVerifies opening reading and bank. Is accountable and responsible for all cash issued and received at their register during their shift and all guest checks used. Counts down drawer at the end of shift to ensure accuracy.\nImmediately notify the Manager in Charge of any deletions, over-rings, or equipment problems.\nEnsures that all product holding times are strictly observed.\nEnsures products on the counter or display case are properly rotated and attractively displayed.\nKeeps display case interior and exterior clean at all times.\nStocks the service area with a sufficient supply of napkins, cups, lids, etc.; maintains an adequate supply of iced tea.\nSets up the batter table, collects all necessary small wares, and prepares batter mix.\nEnsures that call sheets are complete, posted, and used.\nChecks all equipment and immediately reports any malfunctions within the area to the Manager in Charge.\nColor balances fryers and adds sufficient shortening to maintain the proper shortening level.\nFilters and cleans all fryers at the designated times while following all safety guidelines (including using the provided safety equipment).\nPans sufficient chicken for operational needs.\nPrepares and cooks all food products as dictated by the business's needs and at the direction of the Manager in Charge.\nEnsures that all food products meet the specifications, procedures, and quality standards stated in the SOM, including strict observance of designated holding times.\nMaintains a clean work area by practicing “clean-as-you-go” practices while following all of the guidelines/procedures of sanitation and safety.\nVerifies all necessary products and supplies are stocked and available at the batter area.\nMaintains organization and cleanliness of the cooler.\nContinuously stand and/or walk on hard floors for up to eight (8) hours to prepare and cook food, obtain stock items, and transport items to/from the kitchen, stock room, food prep area, and front lines.\nFrequently lift and stack 35 to 50 pounds of food and supply items from various heights onto shelving, in freezers, coolers, stockrooms, etc. Occasionally, carry individual stock items weighing up to 75 pounds from the stock rooms, coolers, and freezers to other areas of the restaurant.\nOccasionally lift and carry up to 50-pound trash bags out of trash cans and into the outside dumpster.\nFrequently push or pull batter table, filter machine, trash cans, brooms, and mop buckets.\nOccasionally, I climb a foot stool or ladder to reach items on stack shelves, in coolers, freezers, stockrooms, etc.\nFrequently stoop or squat to reach items on low shelves or the floor.\nContinuously reach overhead, forward, and underneath shelving, counters, tables, refrigeration units, racks, drink dispensers, fryers, batter tables, and ovens.\nContinuously handle a variety of shapes, sizes, and textures of items, which include, but are not limited to, Dairy products, produce, condiments, meat/poultry, bulk stock items, and paperwork.\nContinuously use fingers to prepare food, unload boxes, etc., bilaterally.\nContinuously communicate with and listen to customers, management, and other team members to ensure optimal performance.\nContinuously observe to be aware of surroundings and locations of needed items and to perform job duties.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nPosition Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):\n\nHigh school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.\nPosition Qualifications/Functional Skills:\n\nKnowledge of all restaurant policies, practices, and operational and human resources procedures\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.\nMust be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.\nMust be able to receive money and accurately count back change.\nPractices adequate security measures in cash handling, making frequent cash drops and maintaining a minimum amount of cash in the drawer.\nBasic computer skills.\nReport to work timely for each scheduled shift.\n1.
