Their product continuously finds coverage gaps and closes them in minutes, compressing work that used to take weeks. The engineering team is small and this hire works directly with the Head of Engineering on core infrastructure.\r\nThe role\r\nYou'll own and evolve the backend microservices, execution pipeline, and data architecture that power the detection automation engine. This isn't a siloed role. You'll touch everything from database schema to production UI, with a focus on building systems that handle large-scale agentic workloads reliably and at speed.\r\nWhat you'll work on\r\nDesign and scale microservices, execution pipelines, and user-facing interfaces for distributed, high-throughput agentic workloads\r\nOwn database schema design and build frontend experiences that surface data to users\r\nBuild and maintain integrations with security tooling including SIEMs, threat intelligence feeds, dashboards, and configuration interfaces\r\nTake prototypes to production-quality deployments, managing infrastructure-as-code across a cloud environment\r\nBuild polished, responsive front-end experiences in React or similar, from simple interactions to complex workflows\r\nRequired\r\n4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strength across backend systems and modern frontend\r\nDeep proficiency in Python\r\nStrong experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks\r\nHands-on experience with containerization and deploying microservices\r\nStrong command of cloud-native architecture and infrastructure-as-code\r\nProven ability to design and optimize database schemas for scale\r\nCS degree or equivalent professional experience\r\nNice to have\r\nExperience in cybersecurity or working with security data pipelines\r\nFamiliarity with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence feeds, or detection engineering workflows\r\nExperience with LLM/agentic frameworks such as LangChain\r\nTrack record of scaling systems from early-access to production at a startup\r\nCompensation and benefits\r\n$150K–$175K base salary plus meaningful equity.
