The Candidate will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise EDI applications within a complex distributed environment. This role focuses on application development, production support, troubleshooting, and system integration while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to ensure reliable and efficient business operations.Required Qualifications for the EDI Application Developer:\r\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\r\n6+ years of experience in application development, systems support, software testing, or a related technical discipline.\r\nStrong experience working in UNIX/Linux environments, including command-line tools and shell scripting.\r\nProficiency developing applications using C/C++.\r\nExperience writing SQL queries and supporting relational database systems.\r\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-tier distributed applications.\r\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.\r\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.\r\nPreferred Skills/Experience of the EDI Application Developer:Experience developing applications with Python.\r\nFamiliarity with enterprise EDI environments and ANSI X12 transaction standards.\r\nExperience integrating applications using APIs and authentication technologies such as LDAP.\r\nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.\r\nExperience with automated testing or AI-assisted development tools.\r\nBackground supporting healthcare or other highly regulated industries.\r\nResponsibilities of the EDI Application Developer:Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise EDI applications and translation platforms.\r\nTroubleshoot production issues by analyzing application behavior, system logs, and database interactions.\r\nDevelop and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts that support application processing.\r\nCollaborate with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement system improvements.\r\nParticipate in application testing, deployments, production support, and ongoing system enhancements.\r\nDocument technical findings, troubleshooting activities, and system changes while helping ensure application stability and performance.Work Location:Remote (subject to future business needs).
