Deliver Baroco- andDDS-approved crisis prevention, de-escalation, and safety training incompliance with DDS regulations, certification standards, and programlicensure requirements. ? Instruct staff on the appropriate, lawful, andethical use of de-escalation strategies, emphasizing least restrictiveinterventions, individual rights, and trauma-informed care. ? Facilitateengaging in-person, virtual, and blended learning sessions using adultlearning methodologies. Program Development & Evaluation ? Design,implement, and continuously improve training programs for new hires andcurrent employees. ? Identify training needs through review of incidentdata, quality assurance findings, staff feedback, and collaboration withleadership. ? Evaluate training effectiveness through observation,assessments, and performance outcomes; revise curricula as needed toensure effectiveness and compliance. Collaboration & Compliance ?Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential training records,certifications, and competency documentation in compliance with DDS,MassHealth, and organizational requirements. ? Collaborate withdepartment leaders to align training initiatives with organizationalgoals, performance improvement plans, and regulatory mandates. ? Supportonboarding and orientation processes to ensure consistent trainingstandards across all programs. Additional Responsibilities ? Develop andupdate training materials, manuals, presentations, and job aids. ?Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to staff. ?Monitor DDS guidance, regulatory updates, and emerging best practices incrisis intervention and staff development. ? Participate in audits,quality assurance reviews, and performance improvement planning asassigned. ? Attend meetings, committees, and perform other relatedDuties Consistent With The Role, And As Assigned. QUALIFICATIONSRequired ? Associate degree or higher in education, psychology, socialwork, human services, or a related field. ? Prior experience as atrainer, facilitator, or instructor (human services or behavioral healthpreferred). ? Experience supporting individuals with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities. ? Working knowledge of Applied BehaviorAnalysis (ABA) principles. ? Experience implementing Behavior SupportPlans and Positive Behavior Support. ? Strong presentation,communication, and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to adapt training todiverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds. ? Proficiency withMicrosoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. ? Ability to meet the physicaldemands of the role, including standing, kneeling, bending, andparticipation in training simulations. Preferred ? Experience withcrisis intervention and de-escalation training. ? Familiarity with DDSregulations, licensing standards, and compliance expectations.Compensation & Benefits: ? \\$24/hour ?
