We are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design and develop next-generation, high-reliability electrical and electro-optical systems for undersea applications.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on advanced circuit design, system integration, and product qualification for mission-critical communication systems used in extreme environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and simulate analog and digital circuits, including microcontrollers and FPGAsDevelop electro-optical systems involving lasers, photodiodes, and fiber optic componentsDesign fault-tolerant, high-reliability electronic systems for undersea applicationsPlan and execute qualification and verification testing for new product designsDevelop test plans for factory validation and manufacturing integrationSupport prototype development, hands-on lab testing, and circuit assemblyCollaborate with electrical, mechanical, optical, and reliability engineering teamsBuild and maintain relationships with internal teams and external suppliersEnsure all engineering work meets company quality, reliability, and safety standardsQualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of relevant engineering experience requiredHands-on experience with design verification and qualification testing of designs for high reliability applicationsExperienced in laboratory testing of new designs (particularly in the area of power products like power supplies, switching, etc.Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and system simulationExperience with electro-optical systems and fiber optic technologiesHands-on skills in soldering, circuit assembly, and laboratory testingStrong data analysis and technical problem-solving abilitiesExperience with optical measurement techniques and single-mode fiber systems preferredExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong attention to detail with a proven track record of executionThis role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge subsea communication systems that power global connectivity.Click "Apply Now" to be considered for this opportunity.About Us Advantage Technical connects top- talent in technology, engineering, and technical fields with forward-looking companies.Advantage Technical is an equal opportunity employer.
